The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for the digital marketing and advertising initiatives for EDTS and EDTS Cyber, along with the event marketing programs for the organization, working in conjunction with the EDTS and EDTS Cyber marketing and sales teams. The ideal candidate should have interest/background in technology, have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, organized, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                                             

  • Responsible for managing websites, social media channels, CRM and e-marketing platforms, along with planning and coordinating external and internal events, while supporting overall marketing initiatives
  • Manage/collect/organize/report on social media and web metrics, analytics, traffic and SEO
  • Develop and execute content calendars and campaigns for social media, web, e-marketing; publish approved content on time and accurately
  • Create and/or source engaging messaging, text, images and video for all platforms using internal/external resources
  • Create and/or source content for brochures, blogs, and white papers
  • Assist in planning, executing and attending sales and marketing events, lunch and learns, webinars networking programs, internal training and sponsored events/trade shows
  • Assist in strategy planning, development and reporting for firm's overall marketing strategy
  • Liaison with third party providers, agencies, internal departments, sales and marketing teams
  • Support related marketing initiatives as requested by team leader
  • Monitor and reinforce EDTS and EDTS Cyber brand guidelines across all departments, channels
  • Stay current on the tech industry, key vendors and marketing trends

Education, Skills, and/or Experience Required:   

  • Minimum 3+ years in marketing with extensive social media and web/digital experience
  • Proven capability with social media and web platforms, analytics, SEO
  • HubSpot marketing automation platform familiarity, and CRM use/experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, new media or related field
  • High energy level, attention to detail, well-organized, positive team player, multi-tasker
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong analytical approach, creative problem solver, strong content writer and effective resource manager
  • Competence with MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud preferred, graphic design skill a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of video editing software preferred, but not required.
  • Travel to other EDTS locations as needed for training, development and other purposes
