Manages, optimizes, and supports client infrastructure. Reduces the number of incidents that occur through proactive maintenance, review, and consultation. Raises technical awareness and productivity through training and recommendations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Complete maintenance visits for a specific set of clients.
  • Participate in onsite incident resolution and request fulfillment.
  • Perform service onboarding and assist in the implementation of solutions and services.
  • Design solutions that meet client needs, and assist in the development of a technical strategy.
  • Maintain client documentation and assist other team members with expertise and knowledge.
  • Evaluate client infrastructure against documented standards to improve business functions.
  • Provide training to end-users with the goal of increasing productivity and awareness of technology

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must make effective use of time, track expenses, and make detailed notes in a ticketing system.
  • Must work with a team, communicate effectively, and have a high attention to detail.
  • Must meet client and corporate expectations for attendance, quality, and expertise.
  • Must be able to drive, maintain a clean driving record, and communicate with a dispatch team.
  • Must be capable of onsite, independent work while interacting with users.
  • Must have an intermediate understanding of workstation management and troubleshooting.
  • Must have an intermediate understanding of server management and troubleshooting.
  • Must have an intermediate understanding of storage management and troubleshooting.
  • Must have an intermediate understanding of network management and troubleshooting.
  • Must have a basic understanding of server applications such as SQL and Exchange.
  • Must have a basic understanding of email routing and troubleshooting.
  • Must have a basic understanding of routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Must have a basic understanding of virtualization and advanced infrastructure.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in a technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of general technical experience, or 2+ years of MSP technical experience.
  • More than one active certifications from Apple, Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, or VMWare
